春田紗良 Sara Haruta
Profile
1993年愛知県瀬戸市生まれ。2017年東京藝術大学絵画科油画専攻卒業。2023年同大学大学院美術研究科博士後期課程美術研究領域（油画）専攻修了。博士号（油画）取得。現在は宮城、愛知を拠点に活動。日本の祖霊信仰、アンリ・コルバンの天使について参照しながら「妖精」をテーマとした制作をする。主な展覧会に「7 Sceneries」大丸東京ギャラリー、「LIFE LAND SHIBUYA ART AWARD」東急プラザ原宿ハラカド（グランプリ受賞）など。
Born in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture in 1993. Graduated from the Oil Painting Course, Department of Painting, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2017. Completed the doctoral program in Fine Arts, Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts in 2023, majoring in Art Research (Oil Painting), with a PhD in Oil Painting. Currently based in Miyagi and Aichi. Haruta pulls references from Japanese ancestral worship and Henry Corbin’s angels in her work created on the theme of spirits. Major exhibitions include “7 Sceneries” at Daimaru Tokyo Gallery, and “LIFE LAND SHIBUYA ART AWARD” at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku Harakado (winner of the Grand Prix).

Statement
絵画は「妖精」との邂逅の場である。「妖精」とはいわゆるフェアリーではなく多義的な存在であり、日本人が山野に見出してきた祖霊や精霊の姿である。また、アンリ・コルバンのいうイマジナル（天使）でもあり、我々の意識の深層にすむイマジナルが絵画に棲み処を移したとき、「妖精」として現れるのだと考える。私は「妖精」たちと出会うため、また彼らの姿を見たいがために絵画を描き、彼らの安寧の地を画中界として顕現させる。
A Painting is a place for encountering spirits. The spirit is not what we call the fairy, but the polysemous presence, the ancestral spirit or sprite that the Japanese have found in the mountains. It is also the imaginal (angel) as coined by Henry Corbin – I believe that when the imaginal living in the depths of our consciousness moves its home to a painting, it appears as a spirit. I create paintings and manifest their haven as the pictorial world in order to meet the spirits, and catch a glimpse of their appearance.

見えないものたちが、画面の奥からそっと姿を現す。
粒子がもたらす偶然によって立ち上がる像は、記憶と感覚の深層にひそむ“妖精”と呼ばれる存在だ。
春田は、それらを呼び寄せる静かな儀式として描き、美術をその棲み処とする。
現実と非現実のあわいにひらかれた扉は、妖精として顕れるイマジナルな実在にふれる場となる。
不可視のものに想像を差し向けることは、美術がいまなお静かに開きうる思考の地平を指し示している。

Invisible beings quietly appear from the depths of the canvas.
The image that arises from the fortune of particles, is the existence we call spirits that hide in deep within our memories and sensations.
Haruta paints as a quiet ritual to bring them forth, and offers art to be their home.
The door opened between reality and the imaginary, becomes a place for encountering the existence of the imaginal that appears as spirits.
To point our imagination towards the invisible, indicates the horizon of thoughts that art is about to quietly open.
