髙橋凜 Rin Takahashi
Profile
1996年 東京生まれ、名古屋育ち。 千葉県在住。
既存のイメージやオブジェクト、個人の小さな出来事を起点にした作品を手掛け、ドローイング、彫刻、映像、インスタレーション、パフォーマンス、まで多彩なメディアで制作を行う。2022年にBeaux-Arts de Parisでの交換留学を経て、2023年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科グローバルアートプラクティスコースを修了。
Born in Tokyo in 1996. Currently resides in Chiba.
Creates work based on preconceived images, found objects and small personal events using a variety of media, including drawing, sculpture, video, installation and performance.
Completed a one-year exchange program in Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2022, studying performance arts, and earned an MFA in Global Art Practice from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2023.

Statement
既存のイメージやオブジェクト、そして小さな個人的な出来事を起点とした作品を制作し、 インスタレーション、ドローイング、パフォーマンスなど、多様なメディアで身近な文化や政治を参照し作品を制作している。
I create work inspired by preconceived images and objects, and small personal events; using a variety of media including installation, drawing and performance, I create work that draws references from familiar cultures and politics.

前回の出走レースでは地下に少々難があった。ここ３年の走りは完璧な内容。新人ながら美術館経験も十分。

There were some underground difficulties with her race entry last time. Her run has been perfect these past three years. She has plenty of museum experience for a newcomer.
Her presence is becoming stronger. Her run above ground is gaining attention. The finish is fine. There is anticipation for sales.
