眼とモティーフの間にある世界に魅せられ、触れたくなるようなモティーフの質感やそれがまとう光を描くことで、その景色を表現する。主な個展に「伊庭靖子展─まばゆさの在処─」（2009年、神奈川県立近代美術館／神奈川）、「伊庭靖子展 まなざしのあわい」（2019年、東京都美術館／東京）。グループ展に「みつめる―見ることの不思議と向き合う作家たち―」（2019年、群馬県立館林美術館）、「感覚の領域 今、「経験する」ということ」（2022年、国立国際美術館／大阪）など。
Fascinated by the world manifesting between her eye and her motif, captures the fleeting scene by depicting the motif’s alluring textures under the play of light.
