昨年開催された「ARTISTS‘ FAIR KYOTO 2022 マイナビ ART AWARD」で最優秀賞を受賞したGoh Uozumiの個展を「ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2023」開催中、同じ京都を舞台に開催いたします。個展では、新作の映像音響インスタレーションのほか、2015年にフランスで発表した大型の映像音響作品《Trustless Trust/Mk.God》をベースに、新しいコンセプトと制作手法を取り入れた、データが主体の実験的な作品を発表します。
Goh Uozumi
アート＆テクノロジーの領域で活動するアーティスト。三上晴子の下でMedia Artを学び、自律分散組織、暗号通貨、人工知能、クリエイティヴ・コーディングなどによる作品を発表している。主な展覧会に「透明な力たち」（東京都現代美術館、2020年）、「メディア・コンシャス」（ICC、東京、2016年）、「Machines」（Zinc&SecondNature、マルセイユ、2015年）「OBSERVER N」（YCAM、山口、2012年）などがある。

Goh Uozumi, winner of the Grand Prize at last year's "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2022 MYNAVI ART AWARD", will hold a solo exhibition during "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2023" in Kyoto, the same place as last year.In addition to a new video-acoustic installation, the solo exhibition will feature an experimental data-driven work that incorporates new concepts and production techniques based on the large-scale visual and sound work "Trustless Trust/Mk. God," which was presented in France in 2015.
Goh Uozumi
Goh is an artist working in the field of Art & Technology. He studied Media Art under professor Seiko Mikami and works with technologies such as autonomous organization, cryptocurrency, machine intelligence, creative coding, etc.Major exhibitions include ‘Invisible Power’ (Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, 2020), ‘Media Conscious’（NTT InterCommunication Center, Tokyo, 2016), ‘Machines’ (Zinc & Second Nature, Marseilles, 2015), ‘OBSERVER N’ (The Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media, 2012)

アーティストの創作の裏側にスポットを当てて、京都市内５箇所にある、普段は開放されることのないアーティストの領域である、制作スタジオを期間限定で公開いたします。５つのスタジオから約30名のアーティストが参加。
会期中は、自由にスタジオ訪問及び見学が可能です。（事前申込不要）
