An artist's atelier can be found in many places in Kyoto, from a former art village at the foot of a mountain, a housing development where Kiyomizu-ware potters gather, an empty store with its sign still left, to a former workshop for bag products. If you shift your perspective, you will notice that the life of artists who devote themselves to their artwork, is right next to our daily lives. In the exhibition Scene of the veil, four artists who have ateliers in Kyoto will create their own scenes with their artwork, along with behind-the-scene videos of their production.
