Statement
ARやビデオ通話など、画面と画面の外の現実がシームレスにつながる今、絵画空間がどのように現実空間とつながることができるのかをテーマに制作しています。
現在は自らの作品を画中画として別の絵に描き続けることで、風景や静物と等価に既成の存在としてアーカイブし、メタ構造によって画面の外と繋がる試みを行っています。
Now that the screen and the reality outside the screen are seamlessly connected through AR and video calls, I am working on the theme of how a pictorial space can be connected to the real space. By continuing to paint my own work, as paintings within paintings, I am currently attempting to archive them as pre-existing entities equivalent to landscapes and still life, and to connect them to outside of the screen through meta-structures.

山﨑の作品はラウシェンバーグのコンバインペインティングを彷彿とさせる。ラウシェンバーグが日用品や廃品、複製絵画や写真等を描かれたキャンバス上で結合する
ことで場所や空間を越えて作品を成立させたように、山崎もまた入れ子状態にイメージを表出していくことで、内と外、現実と仮想空間、時間や次元の境目をなくし、全てが一つの現実として成り立つ世界を作り続けている。

Yamazaki’s work bears close resemblance to Rauschenberg’s combine painting. Like how Rauschenberg combined daily objects, waste, duplicates of paintings and photographs on the canvas to complete a work of art that transcended place and time, Yamazaki also expresses images nested within each other to erase the border between inside and outside, reality and virtual reality, time, dimension, and continues to create a world where all exist as a whole reality.
