1998年生 京都府出身。
2017年 京都造形芸術大学美術工芸学科油画コース 中退。
2018年 アーティストランスペース「石巻のキワマリ荘」(宮城)に移住。
自身の居室をアートスペースとして運用する「おやすみ帝国」を2020年まで運営。現在 京都府在住。
Born in 1998 in Kyoto, Japan.
2017, dropped out of the Oil Painting Course, Department of Arts and Crafts, Kyoto University of Art and Design. In 2018, he moved to the artist-run space “Kiwamari Apartment in Ishinomaki” (Miyagi), where he ran his room as an art space, “Oyasumi Empire” until 2020. Currently lives in Kyoto.

Statement
自分の故郷の状況・ある歴史と、その地での個人的な記憶から着想し、
境涯からの脱出を題材に制作を行なっています。
The subject of my work is escaping from lifelong circumstances,
ideated from the situation and history of my hometown, and personal memories spent there.
Testimonial
仕事で訪れた石巻でミシオくんの展示をたまたま見た。
彼の好きなものがよくわかる、好感持てる絵だった。
後日、資料を送ってもらったが、文章もとてもよかった。
作品と文章は彼の身の丈で一致している。世界は開いている、
と自分が思えば開いているので、生きる可能性にどんどん向かっていってもらいたいです。

I came across Mishio’s exhibition by chance when I went to Ishimaki for work.
His paintings left a good impression, expressing clearly what he loved.
Later, I asked him to send me some references, and his writing was also very good.
His work and writing fit his current stage. If one thinks the world is open, it is indeed open – I hope that he will continue confronting the possibility of life.
