石毛健太 Kenta Ishige

美術家、エキシビションメーカー、他副業多数。2018年東京藝術大学大学院修士過程修了。普段からもっと魚料理を食べたいと思っている。近年の主な個展にアイオーン（BIYONG POINT,2020）、プロジェクトにSCAN THE WORLD、インストールメンツ、Urban Research Groupなどがある。主なキュレーションにAnd yet we continue to breathe. (ANBTokyo,2020)などがある。
Artist, exhibition maker, and many other side jobs. Completed his master’s course at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018. He wants to routinely eat more fish dishes. Recent major solo exhibitions include “aeon” (BIYONG POINT, 2020) and projects include “SCAN THE WORLD”, Installments and Urban Research Group. His major curatorial projects include “And yet we continue to breathe.” (ANB Tokyo, 2020).

普段からもっと魚料理を食べたいと思っている。

Testimonial
石毛は植物をモチーフに扱うことの多い作家である。Clonechoeという作品は文化的遺伝子とも言える古い文庫本から植物が生えている。複製、伝播を担う本を苗床に同一遺伝子を大量に複製できる機能を持つ子宝草が成長する様は日々の中で捉えた作家の生命への視点を伝えている作品である。

Ishige is an artist who often uses plants as his motif. In the work Clonechoe, a plant is growing on a paperback, which may be interpreted as cultural DNA. The way the kalanchoe, with a function of abundantly replicating the same DNA, grows using a book representing replication and propagation as seedbed, shows us the artist’s perspective towards life that he finds in his daily life.
