An exhibition by Gaku Kurokawa, an artist who uses sculptures, and methods of performance and music in his expressions, will be held; the venue Senmaruya is a long-standing yuba business with a history of over 200 years since its establishment in 1804. Enjoy the collaboration between Senmaruya who has protected and nurtured the yuba culture of Kyoto, and Kurokawa. Gaku Kurokawa

Born in Shimane, 1994. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2016, and the Graduate School of Arts, Kyoto City University of Arts in 2018. Kurokawa creates sculptures, performances and music focusing on the relationship between the body, and objects and the environment. Latest exhibitions include New Mutation #3, Kyoto Art Center, (2020), ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2020, Kyoto Shimbun bldg. B1F (2020), and transmit program 2019, @KCUA (2019).
