大庭大介 Daisuke OHBA
Profile
1981年静岡県生まれ。画家。2007年、東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科絵画専攻油画分野修了。
「私たちは世界をどのように視ているのか」という問いを起点に、世界がどのような関係によって現れるのかを、絵画を通して探究する。
光、身体、時間、物質など、絵画を成立させる諸条件を作品の構造に取り込み、それらが関わり合うことで像や空間が立ち現れる「出来事」を扱う。
世界を固定されたものとしてではなく、さまざまな関係によってその都度異なる状態として現れるものと捉え、世界の成り立ちと私たちの経験との関係を問い続けている。
Daisuke Ohba (b. 1981, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan); painter. In 2007, he completed the master’s degree program in Oil Painting at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts, Department of Painting.
Through his paintings, Ohba investigates from what kinds of relationships the world emerges, beginning with the question “how do we see the world?”.
He incorporates the various conditions which establish a painting such as light, the body, time and physical matter, into the structure of his work, and addresses the events in which images and spaces emerge through their interaction.
Interpreting the world as something that appears in different states depending on the various relationships, rather than a fixed entity, he continues to question the relation between the formation of the world and our experiences.
