大上巧真 Takuma Oue
Profile
2000年 大阪府生まれ。京都芸術大学 大学院芸術研究科 美術工芸領域 在籍中。体を動かすときに使う体を把握する感覚の運動神経に着目し制作する。
Born in Osaka, 2000. Currently enrolled in Kyoto University of the Arts Graduate School, Fine and Applied Arts Field.
I focus on the motor nerves, the sense of grasping the body that we use when we move.

Statement
体を動かし、その中で体を分布させる方法について思考する。
体の縁である皮膚や、自身が運動の中心とする部分や末端、重心など、様々な部位を画面のなかに配置する。それによって体の形を変形させたり、自身の体を再認識しようと試みている。
フィジカルフィールディングの痕跡としてのペインティングとフィジカルマッピングから得たセルフポートレイトとしてのペインティングという二つの要素で平面作品を制作する。
I move the body, to think about how it is distributed in the movement.
I place various parts of the body on the screen, including the skin as the edge of the body, the part that is the center or end of my movement, and the center of gravity. This is how I attempt to deform the shape of the body and re-identify my own body.
I create two-dimensional works with two elements: paintings as traces of physical fielding, and paintings as self-portraits derived from body mapping.

Oue’s work exudes live energy.
When watching how he approaches his artwork and the screen, I intuitively feel that he will make something happen. Oue documents the chaotic and undefined world through the pure sensations and experiences of the self and the body.
