Profile

フランスと日本を拠点に活動。2020年École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts修了。主な展覧会に、Reborn-Art Festival2022 (宮城、2022)、「種子だけに趣旨が」（ライトシード・ギャラリー、東京、2023）、「Standing Ovation / 四肢の向かう先」（ATAMI ART GRANT、2021年）、「Le 65e Salon de Montrouge」（パリ、2021年）などがある。

Based in France and Japan, I completed the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in 2020. Major exhibitions include Reborn-Art Festival 2022 (Miyagi, 2022), “this ground is still alive in Jingūmae” (Lightseed Gallery, Tokyo, 2023), “Standing Ovation” (ATAMI ART GRANT, 2021), and “Le 65e Salon de Montrouge” (Paris, 2021).

Statement

テクノロジー、生物、無生物、人間を縦軸ではなく横軸で捉え、存在を存在として認めることを制作の目的としている。

I view technology, living things, inanimate objects, and humans not along a vertical axis but a horizontal one, and aim to acknowledge existence as a whole through my work.

保良くんは世界のひみつに興味があるんだろうと思う。人間から見た世界だけでなく、まだ解明されない何かの営みや、関係性まで。見えないものを可視化するには、観察が必要だし、考えなくてはいけないし、発見に伴い感動もする。それは美術の基礎だ。やすらくんは基礎練習がちゃんとできる。それを生かして自分の表現を手に入れて欲しい。

I feel like Yasura is interested in the secrets of the world. Not just the world as it is seen by humans, but the workings and relationships of things that are still to be unravelled. To visualise invisible things, observation is necessary, thought is necessary, and with discovery comes excitement. This is the basics of art. Yasura has done the basics. I wish for him to make use it in cultivating his own expressions.
