「Wunderkammer (ヴンダーカンマー/驚異の部屋)」とは、16世紀頃のヨーロッパで盛んになった、世界中の珍しいものを収集・展示した空間のこと。そのコレクションは自然科学・美術品・装飾品・宗教的遺物など多岐にわたり、現在の博物館の前身ともなりました。本展では、京都の共同スタジオpuntoで作品制作を行う様々なジャンルの作家７名の作品を展示・販売いたします。また、作家の制作過程でうまれた”副産物”を扱う副産物産店とアクセサリー作家「petitJumelle」の仲地志保美による、puntoで集めた副産物から生まれたアクセサリーも併せて展示・販売いたします。絵画や工芸の様々な手法の作品たちと、”副産物”を昇華させたアクセサリー、お互いが入り混じり陳列された、めくるめく驚異の部屋をお楽しみください。

京都駅南東に位置する共同アトリエ。
絵画、立体など、ジャンルを超えた7人の女性作家が制作の場として運営。
「punto」という言葉はラテン語で”点”という意味を持っており、”点”から線や面が生まれるように、ここを拠点に様々な活動形態へと繋がっていく―
それぞれに制作活動がありながらも、一つの空間に集うことで何かが生まれる、そんな場所です。

副産物産店／Byproducts Market

アーティストのアトリエから出る魅力的な廃材を”副産物”と呼び、回収、販売する資材循環プロジェクト。画家の絵の具のついた道具や彫刻家のノミ跡の残る木材、版画の試し刷りや陶芸の試作品など、作品の制作過程で副次的に生まれてくる”副産物”は、アトリエの片隅に置かれいずれは捨てられる運命にあったモノたちです。それぞれの作家の感性を帯びた作品未満のそれらのモノたちに敢えてスポットを当てることで、ものの価値や可能性について改めて考える機会をつくりたいと思っています。メンバーは山田毅（只本屋）と矢津吉隆（kumagusuku）。京都を拠点に活動。

Wunderkammer

“Wunderkammer” is a space that gathered and exhibited rare things from around the world, which became popular in Europe around the 16th century. Its collections range from natural sciences, artworks, ornaments and religious relics and became the predecessor of the current museum. In this exhibition, we will exhibit and sell the works of 7 artists of various genres who produce works at punto, a joint studio in Kyoto. In addition, we will also display and sell accessories produced from by-products collected at punto by a by-product shop dealing with “by-products” created in the artist’s production process and by Shihomi Nakaji of accessory writer “petitJumelle”. Enjoy the dazzling and amazing room where the works of various paintings and crafts and the accessories that sublimate the “by-products” are mixed and displayed.

A place where seven female artists overcome the limits of genres in painting, 3D modelling and the like,
The word “Punto” means “Point” in Latin, from this “point” various lines and surfaces are birthed; myriad forms of activity all come from this “point”.
Whilst each artist pursues their own work, it’s a single space where something is born through their gathering.

Byproducts Market

A project that recycles and sells the attractive by-products that are produced from artist’s ateliers.
By-products that come about from the production process, such as painting tools covered in paint, wood with sculptors marks, trial art prints and ceramic prototypes; originally placed in a corner of the atelier and destined to be thrown away. Creating the opportunity to reevaluate the value of things, being done by spotting the things that are considered “insufficient” in comparison to the works of the artists. The members are Satoshi Yamada (TADAHONYA) and Yoshitaka Yazu (kumagusuku). Activities are located in Kyoto.
