1984年京都府生まれ。2019年京都市立芸術大学大学院美術研究科メディア・アート領域修了（美術博士）。博士論文「弱い技法: 問いを誘発するメディア=アート」。2012年情報科学芸術大学院大学メディア表現科修了（メディア表現修士）。受賞歴に「清流の国ぎふ芸術祭 Art Award IN THE CUBE 2017」鷲田清一賞。個展に「DEMO DEPO 沓掛出張所」（京都）。グループ展にHouse of Day, House of Night（京都）、文化庁海外メディア芸術祭参加事業企画展「Daily Reflections」Total Museum of Contemporary Art（ソウル – 韓国）など。

STATEMENT
私は、現実もまた虚構、つまり多くの人に信じられた虚構のひとつであり、いつでも他の虚構と入れ替わる可能性を秘めていると考えます。
この視点に立ち、芸術を現実と虚構が混ざり合う人工的空間として捉え、現実と虚構の区別を取り払うために、思弁的なアプローチを用いた芸術実践を行なっています。
思弁的な状況構築によって未知の公共性を演出し、オフィシャルな公共概念によって構築された暗黙の了解の打破を試みています。
Through my artwork, I explore the concept of a fictional reality: the fictional beliefs that are commonly upheld by many people, and the reality that fiction can potentially replace them at any time.
In other words, I regard art as a place where reality and fiction coexist. In order to blur the distinction between reality and fiction, I make use of speculative approaches in my work.
By constructing such speculative situations, I create an unfamiliar commonality and try to break down the tacit understanding established by official public concepts and preconceived ideas.
TESTIMONIAL
簡便なデジタル技術を用いて作り出される虚構の複雑な社会システムが「現実の社会とは何か」を問いけます。市場原理に基づく作品の売買が生々しく繰り広げられる会場の中で、絵画の価値の変動を物理的に繰り返す様は、署名に依拠する近代以降の美術作品に対するアイロニカルな存在です。しかしながら、そのコミカルで愛らしい動きは凝り固まった観念を揉みほぐす芸術的な実践の場をつくりだしてくれることでしょう。
