Yotta
木崎公隆・山脇弘道からなる現代アートのユニット。2010 年結成。
ジャンルや枠組み、ルールや不文律など、あらゆる価値観の境界線上を発表の場としており、それらを融解させるような作品制作を行っている。
現在は、自分達のアイデンティティから世界のカタチを捉え直す作品シリーズを制作中。
2015年に「金時」で第18 回岡本太郎現代芸術賞 岡本太郎賞受賞。
また、 六本木アートナイト2010, 2012、おおさかカンヴァス2011, 2012, 2016、Reborn-Art Festival 2017, 2019、瀬戸内国際芸術祭2019など多数参加。
その他、のせでんアートライン2017のプロデュース、小学校でのワークショッププログラムの実施など、幅広く活動している。
Yotta
A contemporary art unit founded in 2010 by Kimitaka Kisaki and Hiromichi Yamawaki.
All boundaries in the society including genres, categories, rules and unwritten rules, become their stage of presentation, creating work to fuse such boundaries.
Currently they are working on a series to re-perceive the globe through their own identities.
In 2015 they received the Taro Okamoto Award for their magnum opus “Kintoki” at The 18th Taro Okamoto Award for Contemporary Art.
They have also been invited to Roppongi Art Night 2010 & 2012, Osaka Canvas 2011, 2012, 2016, Reborn-Art Festival 2017, 2019, Setouchi Triennale 2019, and more.
They spread their field of activities, producing the Noseden Art-Line 2017, and running art workshops for children in elementary schools and public/private art centres.
